Diosdado Cabello, first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), said on Thursday that the US empire has not been able to defeat the revolutionary people of Venezuela.
“As Chávez told us: with unity, struggle, battle and victory, there is no way to defeat the Bolivarian Revolution”, he said from Cojedes state, where was held an act of recognition to the 4 × 4 machinery of the party.
Cabello stressed that only the unity of the revolutionary forces can guarantee electoral victory in the coming elections, in which the Venezuelan right wing seeks, once again, to attempt to assault power to end the revolutionary process.
“We must prepare ourselves because imperialism does not rest, if ideologically we are not well established the people can be confused,” he warned.
He urged to strengthen the structure of the PSUV to continue overcoming the battles and follow the revolutionary process that the commander Hugo Chávez bequeathed.
He also called on the Venezuelan people to prepare for the presidential elections, to reaffirm to imperialism “that they will never again return to govern the Homeland of Bolívar and Chávez; neither by the good, nor by the bad ways”. “Let’s tell the whole world that Venezuela is a revolutionary territory, vanguard of the struggles of the people in the whole world,” he concluded.
