Rudder change! President Maduro appoints board of directors of PDVSA

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, appointed Ismel Serrano as the new General Vice President of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA).

From a meeting with the workers of the state oil company, at the headquarters in La Campiña, Caracas, where he sworn in the President and Vice President of PDVSA.

Let’s recall that last Sunday, the National President appointed Manuel Quevedo as the new President of PDVSA and Minister of Petroleum, a task he will assume with the mission to clean up and reinvigorate the sector after the ravages of groups that attacked that industry, through corruption networks.

In this act the Head of State asked for maximum honesty and to take the slogan “Cleanup in PDVSA”, as well as he reaffirmed that this will be the new era of the company with the rudder change in the oil company.

“Write it down, November 27, 2017, and mark it as the date of the beginning of a new stage of the rudder change that PDVSA demanded from its bowels”

Later the National President proposed to Alí Rodríguez Araque to be honorary President of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), “In Alí Rodríguez we found experience, honesty, commitment and his oil knowledge”, he concluded.
