The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed on Wednesday that the actions of the former Attorney General of the Republic, Luisa Marbelia Ortega Díaz, were framed in a single purpose: to follow the United States interventionist plan and to promote violent actions. as well as to alter order to attempt against the Bolivarian Revolution.
“Today we have the film clear: after more than six months of these events that the statements of the former prosecutor was part of a plan agreed with international factors to give the fuel needed to set our country on fire and fill it with violence”, said Maduro from the Military Academy of Venezuela in Caracas, during a meeting with the military of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.
He recalled and condemned the death of 121 people as a result of the seditious plan that in July violated peace in some Venezuelan municipalities, with the help of Ortega Díaz and the leadership of right-wing leader Freddy Guevara, who is currently fleeing from his responsibilities in front of the laws of the Republic and is in the capacity of guest at the Embassy of Chile in Venezuela.
“Never before have we experienced the pain and tear of so much violence that the country experienced during April, May, June and July, never. The social, ethical, psychological body of a nation had never been martyred. Day by day, more than 120 deaths, murdered by the “guarimbas” (riots) and thousands of wounded people”, lamented the President, while appreciating the efforts made by the National Constituent Assembly to study each of these cases until a report is drawn up that reports how the events happened
“The Commission for Truth, Justice, Reparation of Victims and Peace is making the historical, legal, technical and scientific record of each event, each day, each wounded person, each murdered, so that Venezuela knows the pure and complete truth. Sooner than later this commission will present the report of these dramatic events for the country”, said the Head of State, at the ceremony broadcast through the signal of Venezolana de Television.
