The Chairwoman of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Wednesday that the plenipotentiary body will take actions against the economic war in the coming hours.
“In the next few hours there will be important actions of the Constituent Assembly against the economic war, in conjunction with the Government of President Nicolás Maduro and with all instances of national, regional, municipal government”, said Rodríguez.
Regarding the document that the Venezuelan women delivered to the ANC on Wednesday, with proposals to combat the economic war, Rodriguez stressed the firmness of Venezuelans to face this onslaught and the importance of these approaches.
“The revenge of the empire came precisely with the economic war accentuated and increased with induced inflation”, and before that: “We will go along with the people, we are going to fight them and we are going to defeat them”, she said.
For her part, the Minister for Women and Gender Equality, Blanca Eekhout, called for the application of the law against organized crime and groups that promote the speculation of basic necessities.
She reiterated that Venezuelan women are firm with the Revolutionary process and the fight against economic war, a tactic used by oligarchic sectors of the country to beat the Bolivarian Government and seize power.
