Regional elections will have international support

Francisco Torrealba, member of the National Constituent Assembly by the Workers sector, said this Friday that regional elections to be held on Sunday, October 15 will have the presence of international accompaniment.

“The international chaperones will be able to take note of how the electoral process is carried out, for example, they will be able to see that the voters exercise their vote freely and that the vote is secret, because in the country there is a democracy; we are pleased that more people are coming to see what our elections are like”, he said.

He also indicated that: “In the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela the one with the most votes wins, we have nothing to hide”, and thus he assured that the people is ready to fulfill their democratic commitment next Sunday.

In his opinion, this electoral process is a new opportunity to leave behind the violence and hatred, and to advance in the search of new formulas to consolidate the national peace.

Torrealba called for an end to the mistreatment of the National Constituent Assembly by the private media, from which the institution has been censored.

The information was provided during a special program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
