Youth Chapter will make it possible to convert social policies into rights for the youth

The incorporation of a Youth and Future Chapter into the new Constitution will make it possible to convert the achievements and social programs launched in the first 18 years of the Bolivarian Revolution, in fundamental rights for the Venezuelan Youth, said on Tuesday the president of the Youth Commission of the National Constituent Assembly, Mervin Maldonado.

“Today we are discussing the Youth Chapter to continue to claim the achievements we have obtained in the Bolivarian Revolution for young people, but also for these achievements to become rights and guarantee that this constitutional tool allows us to build, dream, materialize the dream of the young people”, he said from the Miranda square in Los Teques, where the plenipotentiary body met on Tuesday.

He maintained that they will continue to be deployed in every corner of the country to listen to the proposals of the people and particularly of the Venezuelan youth.

For her part, Elymar Malave, vice-president of the Youth Commission, called for peace and work together to promote participatory debate and dialogue and build a better homeland for young people “between diversity of thoughts.”

“We extend our arms to debate and build a better Venezuela. The Youth Commission has built the proposal from dialogue with young people. Now this proposal will be debated in every corner of the country. It is a matter of prioritizing and serving these young people. This is the generation that will respond to each of the needs. In us this is the responsibility of building, convincing and moving forward”, she said.
