Regional elections confirm pluralist democracy in Venezuela

Constituent Hermann Escarrá during an interview on Tuesday said that the exercise of the vote in the regional elections as an expression of the will of the people is a new demonstration to the world that pluralist democracy is being practiced in Venezuela.

“Welcome and extraordinary is that we give a lesson to the world that in Venezuela there is not only harmony, peace, stability, but a pluralist democracy that is practiced and that with all their rights and guarantees everyone can participate,” he stressed regarding the options elections that will be measured this Sunday, October 15.

In an interview in the “Encendidos” (Turned on) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he stressed that the electoral journey is an option that opens to the opposition to abandon the path of violence and “To join the democratic civilization and the culture of freedom ; and to do so through the vote”.

To these elections are invited to participate 18,094,065 voters, according to the Electoral Registry Court (RE), corresponding to July 15 of this year. Includes 17,898,004 Venezuelans resident in the entities and 196,061 foreigners residing in the country and registered in the Electoral Registry.
