Law against Hate, Intolerance and for Peaceful Coexistence will be approved next week

The Chairwoman of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Delcy Rodríguez, said on Tuesday that the Law against Hate, Intolerance and for Peaceful Coexistence will be approved next week.

During an ordinary session in the Protocolary Chamber of the Federal Legislative Palace, Rodriguez said that this law represents a tribute to Robert Serra, when are met three years after his assassination.

«This law, which has been widely and deeply debated with the Venezuelan people, is a tribute to Robert Serra and to all victims of hate crimes and expressions of fascism», she said.

She pointed out that the young Venezuelans are the guarantee of the future of the country and said that from next week Venezuela will be at the forefront with an anti-hate law.

Serra, who was killed three years ago by paramilitaries, «is an example for the Venezuelan youth», said Rodriguez, » due to his patriotic spirit».

«Today Robert, his example and his memory are food for the combat of the youth of the revolution. He was an example of how Venezuelan youth should be, committed to a free Homeland», she emphasized.
