Satellite Antonio José de Sucre will be launched next October 9

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that this Monday, October 9, will be the official launching of the third Venezuelan satellite, named after Antonio José de Sucre.

“It is the third sovereign, independent satellite, and so we will go to the fourth, the fifth, the sixth satellite … We are going for the development of the highest technological level”, said the Head of State during his program ” Los DOmingos con Maduro” (Sundays with Maduro) on its issue No. 94, from Yaracuy state.

The National President stressed that the three satellites that Venezuela owns are a reality thanks to the relations maintained by Venezuela with the People’s Republic of China.

This new satellite will make easier for the Republic to carry out cartographic studies and surveys, soil diagnostics and even prevent seismological movements.
