Chavez calls on ANC to accelerate investigations against perpetrators of political violence

The lawyer and constituent, Julio Chávez, once again alerted the National Constituent Assembly on the need to accelerate the investigations carried out by the Commission of Truth, Justice and Public Legitimacy to find those responsible for political violence promoted by opposition sectors last April.

“We cannot leave room for impunity” said the constituent, after the members of the Board of Unity (MUD) again abandoned the (dialogue) table proposed by the Dominican Republic.

This behavior of the opposition’s leadership was foreseeable. “We knew that they were not going to remain, because we are in the presence of a lying, manipulative opposition that does not believe in the possibility of dialogue, which does not recognize Chavismo as a historical current, as the immense majority of the Venezuelan population that it is”.

The vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) for states Merida and Trujillo, in conversation with journalist María de la Paz Higuera, during the program “Hablando se entiende la gente” (People gets understood by talking), broadcast by RNV Informative Channel, assured that the recent declarations of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, marked the new line of the opposition against dialogue.
