The Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, said this Monday that Venezuela will continue to defend its right to sovereignty and peace in the face of imperialist aggressions and attempts to blockade the national economy.
“The truth of Venezuela has to impose, and the truth is had by us: the Bolivarian Revolution”, said Arreaza from Switzerland, where he participates in the 36th session of the United Nations.
He stressed that the Bolivarian Revolution has sought, for 18 years, the independence of the Venezuelan people in all scopes: political, social and economic. He stressed that the latter is the challenge that currently faces the revolutionary process, but that victory will prevail.
“The world’s media have always tried to prevent the truth of Venezuela from being known, but we will do whatever we have to do to make it known”, he added.
Regarding the economic situation that Venezuela is going through, he denounced that in the last years the country of Bolivar has been subjected to a multiform aggression in its economy, to destroy peace. However, he stressed that since the election of the National Constituent Assembly, peace has returned to the country.
