FANB must remain united to guarantee peace

The Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López on Thursday urged the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to remain united to maintain the country’s peace, in the face of constant attacks against the military by violent groups encouraged by extremist sectors of the opposition.

“One of the things we have to do is maintain the unity of the Armed Forces, because the enemy works in our fracture, in our division as an institution. The forces of evil want to seize this but they have not been able to do it, thanks to these men and women of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, with the recognition that makes the country and the people of Venezuela”, he said during the act of promotion of 101 Officers and 61 sergeants, held in Fort Tiuna and broadcast by VTV.

He pointed out that the people of Venezuela want to live in peace and tranquility, and appreciated the efforts made by the FANB to shield the institutions that seek to be undermined by opposition sectors.

Padrino López called on those who attacked the military institution to stop the aggressions, because the people deserves peace, and invited to resolve the differences in the voting centers for the Constituent Assembly.
