Right-wing leaders do not accept the Constituent Assembly because they obey to foreign interests

The candidate for the National Constituent Assembly, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that the Venezuelan right-wing leaders do not accept the Constituent Assembly because they obey to foreign interests.

“It is very difficult for them to accept this initiative. They are married to foreign interests … It was sorrowful to see them – at the OAS – dragging out asking for an intervention against Venezuela, because they are also Venezuelans”, stated Rodríguez in Caracas during the presentation of candidate men and women to the National Constituent Assembly (ANC).

Regarding the goals of the opposition in the OAS, she reiterated: “We do not need any kind of interference, we Venezuelan men and women can solve our problems ourselves”.

She assured that, in the face of the opposition violence outbreaks, the reaction of the revolutionaries will be to get deployed to add more strength to the ANC.

“In the face of these outbreaks of violence we are going to get deployed, there will not be a square meter that we do not go to say let’s all go to the Constituent … That opposition leadership will be given the most decisive defeat”, she said.

She invited the opposition to join the electoral process to elect the ANC. “To them – the right wing – we say: “Join in”, do understand that the way is the Constituent”, she expressed.
