The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that the convocation of the National Constituent Assembly will empower the youth to preserve their future in the Homeland of Bolivar and Chavez.
During the lecture to 1,200 cadets of the fourth year, in the Bicentennial Square of Miraflores Palace, the Head of State assured that the new members of the FANB, who are graduating today, will be those that will remember the 200 years of the physical departure of Liberator Simón Bolívar.
«It will be up to you to go to Santa Marta to pay homage to our Liberator on December 17, 2030, when we will be remembering and telling him: Liberator, 200 years later, here is your victorious revolution, here is your people in power, here is your Armed Forces, here we are, your fruit, here we are, your legacy».
He added that the new graduates of the FANB will be the ones that will commemorate the 300 years of the birth of Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda.
«(…) In the eyes of you guys, will go our spirit, will go our gaze, when you become generals and admirals and in the year 2050 you must commemorate the 300 years of the birth of the Generalissimo … Francisco de Miranda, there will be you, in 2050, who will have achieved the prowess of a revolution that, victorious in time, demonstrated its superiority», he said.
