The Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stressed this Monday that for the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) have registered more than 55,000 candidates for territorial and sectorial election.
He detailed that, of those enrolled, 35,000 did so in the sector area, “casually where the right wing has emphasized for the sectors, the workers, fishermen, communes, not to participate”.
He stressed that, fortunately, the Venezuelan people is wise and knows that those who today oppose the Constituent, are the same ones who in 2014 claimed for it as the solution of all the problems of the country.
“If the right wing says they are majority, then why they did not participate and presented their candidates to prove their majority, and thus ended with everything as they put it in 2014?, That is because they wanted to make a constituent assembly tailor made for themselves”, he said.
In this respect, he affirmed that: “We are in times of the Constituent Assembly” and that the whole of Venezuela will come out to vote on July 30. At the same time, he exhorted that any person who intends to sabotage the elections will be sanctioned immediately.
He also reiterated to the right wing: “You will not be able to end the Bolivarian Revolution, we call for peace for all of Venezuela” and affirmed that “the Constituent Assembly is unstoppable”.
