“The battle for the Constituent Assembly has started, that is why we have deployed in the different states of the country in order to clarify why we are going to the Constituent process, which has been promoted by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro,” said the National leader of the Local Committees of Supply and Production (CLAP), Freddy Bernal.
“Despite the violence developed in the country by the right wing, we are in the Constituent process”, he detailed. There have already sworn in the Constituent Campaign Commands in Lara and Falcon states, among others, and right now signatures are being collected for the candidates who will participate in this important process.
He also emphasized that: “The leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) wanted me to run for the Constituent Assembly in Caracas, it is an honor for me”, and at the same time he invited the block leaders of the CLAP to participate in the Collection of signatures required by the compatriots to run as candidates.
He also recalled that the only way to ensure that the social benefits promoted by the Revolutionary Government are not lost, is that each one of the citizens participate in one way or another for the ANC to happen. “They (the opposition) can never go back to rule this country, because they are criminals, because they hate the people”, he said.
CLAP Communicators Course:
Regarding the Local Committees for Supply and Production (CLAP), he stressed that on Thursday in ten states of the country will be held days of supervision, on how to develop the distribution of products.
He also said that this Thursday will be held in Portuguesa state the course for CLAP Communicators, which will reach each of the regions of the country.
