Head of State blamed Julio Borges for opposition violence

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, blamed the opposition leader Julio Borges for the violence deployed in the violent demonstrations of recent weeks.

“I watch you at times declare as a politician, but within half an hour I see him declaring as a runaway coup caller to violence. Julio Borges this is the future that you are sowing, persecution, death, violence, setting the bodies of compatriots on fire. I will not stop making the call, by their names, to leaders, directors, chiefs and political parties. You are the ones who can stop this, you are the ones who can rectify in time. I call on you to rectify in time, and to seek the truth”.

The President expressed his confidence in the installation of the truth commission that will install the new National Constituent Assembly so that it can investigate the known and unknown violence facts,  and a new process of search for peace and national unity.
