La Villa del Cine (The Cinema Village) will soon produce a film that will narrate the life and work of the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez.
The information was released on Sunday by Ernesto Villegas, Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, during his participation in the 79th program of “Los Domingos con Maduro” (Sundays with Maduro).
The high official stressed that the goal is to immortalize the life of one of the most important figures in Venezuelan history, for which it is planned to produce cinematographic, audiovisual and sound pieces, in addition to some publications with the “Chavez de Verdad” (Truly Chavez) label.
“Because no one has to come and tell us who truly was Chávez. We knew him, we know him and we feel him as present”, said Villegas.
In his speech, the public servant said that still are being refined the details of the production, whose libretto is under the responsibility of Luis Brito García.
