The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the creation of the Special Anti-Coup Command, which will guarantee peace and the defense of National Sovereignty.
During the edition n ° 76 of the program “Contacto con Maduro” (Contact with Maduro), he said that this command – which will be coordinated by the Executive Vice President, Tarek El Aissamí – will include Minister for the Office of the Presidency, Carmen Meléndez; The Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López; And the Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Néstor Reverol.
Are also participating in this instance the socialist deputy Diosdado Cabello; The national director of the Bolivarian Intelligence Service (Sebin), Major General Gustavo González López; The General Commander of the Bolivarian Militia, Major General César Vega González; The head of the Military House, Iván Hernández Dala; and the commander of the Bolivarian National Police, Franklin Garcia.
He said that next Tuesday, January 10, in San Carlos, Cojedes, will be sworn this special command that will count on the participation of the bodies of security and defense of the nation.
“Nothing will take away or distract me from achieving my goal: the recovery of the economy with all the productive forces of the nation, the expansion of missions and the completion of public works,” said the Head of State, who demanded to the command the preventive and corrective measures against the coup plotting and terrorist sectors of the country.
Faced with every coup attempt, -he said-, it is necessary to take legal action: “No one can believe that has open immunity to destroy Venezuela.”
