In a deployment of management in the Santa Ana neighborhood of the Antímano parish (in eastern Caracas), Venezuela’s Acting President, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed this Tuesday that social peace and national sovereignty are the non-negotiable pillars of the Bolivarian Government. Her declaration is produced within the framework of administrative continuity following the kidnapping by foreign forces of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores.
From the José Félix Ribas Commune, Rodríguez emphasized that the People’s Power constitutes the insurmountable barrier against the unilateral armed aggression denounced before the UN Security Council. She stressed that community organization is the guarantee of resistance against external threats.
“Firstly, peace for Venezuela, may the threats end, may the aggression end; it is a right that the Venezuelan people has”, declared Rodríguez during the supervision of communal economic circuits. She added that the second fundamental right is “the right to our homeland, to national independence, and to the future.”
Within the framework of the Reto Admirable (Admirable Challenge) 2026, the acting president highlighted that the Revolution continues its course despite the international harassment. She noted that the current governance is founded on the fusion of the people with their grassroots organizations to guarantee the country’s economic prosperity:
“We are a people and a country of peace, who have been assaulted and attacked, and thus we will continue on this path of peace,” expressed Rodríguez. She made a call to national unity to defend the history and dignity of the Homeland against what she described as “international illegality.”
Finally, she reiterated the unwavering commitment to the liberation of the national leader: “To guarantee the liberation of our hero Nicolás Maduro and our heroine Cilia Flores. The hostages we have in the United States must return to Venezuela.” Her declaration concluded with a message of firmness and popular resistance.
