Flexibility and organization is the new normality to support families and the Venezuelan economy

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated this Sunday that the recent flexibility scheme is the path to a new relative normality that through organization will benefit the families and economy of the country:

“We walk the path to a new relative and guarded normality, with an organized plan. We are aware that this flexibility benefits the family, society and the economy. Let’s take care of Health, Venezuela!”, Wrote the national president in his account of the Twitter social network.

The 5 × 10 quarantine flexibilization scheme announced on Saturday by the Head of State, and which begins this Monday, June 1, seeks a relative normality to reactivate the country’s social and economic life, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, maintaining the isolation of infected people, as well as quarantine for those diagnosed, adults over 65 and those with chronic diseases.

The plan consists of flexibilizing the quarantine for five days in nine prioritized sectors, between Monday and Friday, followed by 10 days of quarantine with the operation of essential activities in the food and health sectors.

Border municipalities with Colombia and Brazil are exempt from flexibilization, as well as the Maracaibo and San Francisco municipalities of Zulia state.

The National Government approved this scheme based on the 5 × 10 method proven in scientific studies, where the incubation phases of the coronavirus have been taken into account.
