“The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan government and people, expresses his solidarity to the brotherly people and government of the Republic of Turkey, after two snow avalanches in the province of Van, on February 5, 2020, and the tragic plane crash the same day at the Sabiha Ghocken airport in Istanbul.
These unfortunate events resulted in the balance of forty-two (42) people killed and more than two hundred (200) injured.
Faced with these unfortunate events, Venezuela wishes to express its feeling of regret to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured people, and encouragement to search and rescue teams”.
