The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, said this Thursday that in the coming days he will travel to the city of Astana, capital of Kazakhstan, in order to participate in an international summit of the countries of the Islamic community, with members of the Organization of Oil Exporting Countries (Opec) and non-OPEC countries, where he will raise the stabilization and improvement of crude oil prices.
“I will hold bilateral meetings with the most important President of the Opec and non-Opec producer countries, in order to raise the new market management formula that Venezuela proposes to stabilize and improve the prices of crude oil and international gas at sustainable prices”, he said. during an intervention in the ANC.
He stressed that this action is a step that must be taken to strengthen the production, distribution and fixation of oil prices to regenerate the Venezuelan economy.
“There are no immediate or easy solutions to the structural crisis of the rentier model that Venezuela is going through. (There only remain) the creation, the action and new alliances. Let no one be fooled”, he warned.
He said that, despite the economic and media war that has tried to subdue the nation for three years, the Venezuelans “stand up in every sense of the word”, and thus he extolled the efforts that the State has made for the past year along with the oil producing countries of the world.
