The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela highlights the doctrinal roots of the Independence of the United States as the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for its people and want in this relevant date for the US, that its people can be redeemed on the principles that inspired its independence.

Venezuela ratifies its willingness to establish bilateral diplomatic relations of respect with the US, guided by international law and principles as the sovereign equality of States and the right to self-determination of peoples. Such principles inspired the Independence of the United States from the British Empire.
