The Supreme Commander Hugo Chavez forged deep and sincere relations of friendship with the Republic of Belarus and with its President Alexander Lukashenko, garnering a valuable strategic alliance of historic dimensions, consolidated with the great advance and the development of cooperation between our countries.

This relationship, based on respect for the principle of sovereign equality of States and the International Law, has allowed to join efforts in the bilateral and multilateral spheres for the formation of a multipolar and multi-centric world.
