During a telephone contact with the  “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer) program, on the occasion of celebrating its third anniversary, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated that in addition to the 5 fundamental lines that he has launched in counteroffensive, there are two vital tasks.

“The “Carnet de la Patria” (Homeland Card) system: everyone to participate actively, not passively, the 29 movements of the Homeland Congress, UBCH and CLP of the PSUV, the Great Patriotic Pole, but above all, the communities,” said Maduro, referring to that first vital task.

He argued that the second major task is the Local Supply and Distribution Committees (CLAP), “The goal of the 12 million households. I insist, the CLAP are not only a box (of supplies), I strongly criticize the comrades who put the people to queue in line to give them a box, that’s not the way. ”

He asserted that the way is to go house by house: “To embrace the people, to incorporate it, to strengthen the CLAP at the assembly level, at the base, in the street, street leaders, to organize, to bring love, ideology, to bring motivation to the people. Let nobody denature the CLAP, and whoever  is not able (to do it), may withdraw”, said President Maduro.

He also stressed on the need to consolidate the CLAP, “It is the socialist response from the grassroots, the Christian and Chavista response to the economic war;  to bet all the power for the CLAP “.

Maduro reported that next February 20, the Bolivarian Central Command, the highest consultation body of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), will be convened to present strategic documents for the political consolidation in 2017.
